This much we can say:
This island can’t be reached by car, only by boat and it lies far away from all other (mass) tourism!

This island had played a role as a warning post against pirates because of its location. Already in the 6th century late antique fortresses were built and the remains are still visible today. The traces of ancient constructions testify for the once strategic meaning.

The island’s relief is quite interesting: the island is passed through by two lines of hills and locatied in between them is a fertile valley. The coastal landscape is decorated with interesting rock formations and smaler islands. On “Secret Island” olives, vines, figs and plums grow next to its waters rich in fish that surround the island and supply the island inhabitants with their livelihood.

Dolphin sighting on the open sea is not a rarity!
